Sustainable Innovation

The Earth Centre (TEC) sets a new benchmark for green architecture by weaving sustainability into every layer of its design. From its 50% recycled clay façade to passive cooling systems and rainwater harvesting, every element of TEC works in harmony with nature. Smart daylight optimisation, gabion walls filled with reclaimed debris, and lush native landscaping create a microclimate that’s cooler, healthier, and resilient. Greywater is recycled for irrigation and water features; the façade serves as a rainscreen for thermal insulation; and AI-powered systems monitor energy, air quality, and usage in real-time. Built with low-carbon materials and designed for adaptability, TEC champions circularity, ecological value, and a regenerative future for urban workspaces.

Human-Centric Design

Human experience is the foundation at TEC. Designed as an open, inclusive urban campus, TEC responds to the rhythms of modern work-life by crafting spaces that inspire both productivity and well-being. Every zone, from the contemplative terrace gardens and yoga decks to interactive breakout areas and ergonomic workspaces, is conceived to support diverse human needs. The spatial language reflects flexibility, encouraging movement, pause, and connection. Natural ventilation, green corridors, and biophilic design create a sensory-rich atmosphere that reduces stress and encourages mindfulness in everyday life.

A central pedestrian plaza acts as a connective tissue between buildings, becoming a shared space of rest, interaction, and community energy. By layering social, recreational, and professional domains, the campus dissolves rigid boundaries between work and leisure. TEC’s approach to human-centric design is holistic, nurturing cognitive health through nature, emotional wellness through art, and physical vitality through movement. TEC is a lived experience, a landscape for collaboration, cultural engagement, and care.

Future-Ready Infrastructure

TEC redefines what it means to build for the future. Its modular design, AI-powered automation, and smart systems are embedded into the architecture. From intelligent lighting and climate-responsive facades to touchless entry and adaptive workspaces, every element anticipates evolving work patterns and user needs. TEC is wired for adaptability, ensuring that the infrastructure evolves in sync with the future of work.

TEC’s innovation integrates circular material strategies, a breathable terracotta skin, and passive cooling techniques to deliver long-term sustainability with low environmental impact. Smart means human, porous, and responsive. With public plazas, digital sustainability dashboards, and spaces that flow between work, wellness, and community.

Urban Integration & Connectivity

TEC redefines the urban workspace by dissolving boundaries between the building and the city. Located in Whitefield, Bangalore, an area often marked by gated complexes and traffic congestion, TEC instead opens up to the neighbourhood with a soft, green edge and pedestrian-friendly pathways. Its porous design invites interaction, transforming the public plaza into an extension of the city itself. TEC offers civic and ecological value through its ground-level connectivity, creating a space where work, leisure, and community life converge.

More than just an office complex, TEC is a dynamic urban ecosystem that thrives beyond business hours. With curated cultural venues, accessible recreational areas, and transit-friendly planning, it fosters ongoing public engagement. Integrated pedestrian zones, flexible spaces, and modular layouts ensure long-term adaptability while enhancing mobility and inclusivity.

Building as a Living Organism

TEC is envisioned as a living, breathing entity that constantly senses, responds, and adapts to its surroundings. Like skin, its rainscreen façade, composed of layered terracotta panels with recycled content, regulates internal temperatures while allowing the building to “exhale” heat, significantly reducing cooling demands. Biophilic inserts, terrace forests, balcony gardens, and wetland-inspired water features act as lungs and arteries, bringing in oxygen, light, and movement. Greywater flows in closed loops, stormwater is harvested, and air quality is monitored in real-time, making TEC function like a self-sustaining organism within the urban ecosystem.

From its porous urban edges to the central pedestrian plaza that pulses with community life, every zone within TEC is designed for interaction and regeneration. It is a structure that grows with its users, evolves with the climate, and engages with the city like a living, breathing being.

Cultural & Artistic Expression

Art is embedded into TEC’s identity, transforming it from a workspace into a cultural experience. The building fosters creative engagement with permanent installations, interactive sculptures, and curated gallery spaces. The inclusion of a museum store, event spaces, and a permanent installation gallery demonstrates the project’s commitment to art as an integral part of work-life integration. The gallery space dedicated to artist Tota Vaikunta serves as a critical site for contemporary artistic engagement. From the sculptural terracotta facade to collaborative art spaces, TEC is more than just a workplace, it is an artistic landmark that inspires innovation and storytelling.

A Workplace Beyond the 9-to-5

Designed to remain active beyond conventional office hours, TEC blends work with leisure, dining, and culture, offering curated cafes, art exhibitions, wellness zones, and event spaces that extend the workday into a more fulfilling urban experience. From morning meetings in garden courtyards to post-work art walks and community gatherings, every corner of TEC supports a fluid, interconnected lifestyle.

This is a place to belong. With its porous edges, pedestrian-friendly design, and inclusive public realm, TEC invites interaction, collaboration, and pause. Whether it’s a wellness retreat on the terrace, a pop-up performance, or a casual conversation in the plaza, TEC is a workspace without walls, where city, culture, and community converge beyond the 9-to-5.
